Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients to secure new business deals.
- Generate sales leads through proactive cold calls and internet research.
- Handle freight negotiation & provide quotations to customers
- Ensure timely and effective communication by checking and following up on emails.
- Collaborate with the team and customers for seamless operational coordination.
- Implement digital media and new marketing strategies and maintain a vibrant market presence.
Skills Required:
- Excellent sales negotiation skills.
- Fast learning ability to promptly understand basic logistics / supply chain movements and develop understanding of changing market conditions and industry dynamics.
- Strong business mindset with a proactive thinking approach.
- Proficiency and fluency in professional / sales communication through speech and E-mail.
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Experience in marketing and social media / digital media platforms (maintain good online presence, familiarity with marketing techniques and generating posts and updates)
Learning Opportunity:
- Develop, learn and enhance sales and negotiation skills.
- Gain insights into supply chain processes and operations.
- Learn about Pakistan and Global trade,
- Develop a keen understanding of various commodities and the intricacies of Import/Export in Pakistan.
- Familiarize yourself with worldwide ports and cities, expanding your geographical and logistical awareness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of [6] months of experience with Sales / Customer Service or Marketing
- Fresh candidates and prior experience of shipping and freight forwarding are welcome.
